OGBCA – GENERAL MEETING – JUNE 2, 2007 – 9:00A.M.
Call to order.
Minutes read and approved.
Report given by Rick Wilson concerning All-State and the great support
that he received from the Weatherford community, both financial, as well
as, the volunteer work provided.   At that time approx. $20,000 had been
donated from the community.  Needs help to improve communication with
Board Members,  All-Staters,  Coaches, Award Winners, etc.   Everyone
needs to make sure that they provide e-mail addresses to him for the
website.
The officers and the Board Members would like to congratulate Rick Wilson,
as well as, the Weatherford Community for such an outstanding All-State
weekend.   Rick worked extremely hard and the games were a great success.
The Association and Cherie would like to say “thanks” for all that was
done to make it such a first class event.
The floor was opened for discussion concerning the All-State games, the
workouts, any problems with the athletes, etc.   No major concerns were
noted.
Cherie gave a financial report for the yearly expenses before the
All-State expenses and before the books are taken to the auditor.  The
biggest expense and increase involved the insurance for the games and
workouts, the ring tops (pendants) and coaches rings for Allstate,  the
plaques and awards for the winners, rings for the Award winners, State
Association taxes, etc.  A more detailed report will be given after
auditor returns the books.
