All State Information

O.G.B.C.A. ALL STATE 2009 in Weatherford June 5th & 6th Congratulations on the great Honor of being selected to this summers Oklahoma Girls Basketball Coaches Association, {OGBCA}, 2009 All-State Team! We are very excited in Weatherford to be your host and hope to make your time here memorable. Please feel free to contact me by e-mail or phone with any questions you or your parents might have. I want to include some basic information: _______________________________________________________________________ 1. You MUST notify your All-State Coach by May 1st if you are going to play. If you fail to notify the Coach by May 1st, you will be replaced.
2. Pictures will again be taken by Digital Express Photography. They will take your individual and Team pictures on Friday June 5th when your Team practices at Weatherford HS or when scheduled. They will take any extra pictures you might want, with your Coach, other teammates, etc. on Sat June 6, from 11.00-12:45 @ the HS lobby upstairs. They will have a variety of packages to choose from. Bring your checks with you for the pictures. 3. There is an enclosed Team practice schedule. Each Team will get in 2 practices one to include Team and Individual pictures at the beginning. Each Team will have a Team MOM who will, hand out and pick up uniforms, help with check-in at the Dorm and assist your Team with any details or needs.
4. There is a mandatory meeting of all Players and Coaches at 12:00pm {noon}, @ Weatherford High School on Friday June 5th. If you aren’t here you will be replaced! Call with any travel problems. So plan your travel accordingly.
5. Players will be housed in the Dorm on the Campus of Southwestern State University Friday night June 5th. You will need to bring your own sheets and light blanket, pillow, along with the usual personal toiletry items. You will be expected to be in the Dorm by 11:30pm. If there are Dorm problems you will be replaced. 6. We have 3 quality Motels acting as hosts for visitors. Please tell your parents and fans to contact these fine establishments: 580-774-0400---Holiday Inn Express, 580-772—9100--Comfort Inn 580-772-3325 Best Western/Mark, 7. Please be prompt for all practices and meetings. This is a busy and fun weekend with many areas to enjoy and experience. 8 Each All-Staters will be responsible for obtaining sponsorship for their individual Celebration Page in the All-State Program. The cost for a player or for two players from the same school is $300. You may design your All-State page how ever you would like. The Celebration Page should be sent direct to the printers at: schoonmakerprint@sbcglobal.net The fee for the Celebration Page must be sent to Coach Cherie Myers, P.O. Box 55, Kingfisher, OK 73750 by May15th. Those that fail to provide the info and funds will NOT have an individual page in the Program. Please make all checks payable to OGBCA.
